Berchmans Hall
Berchmans Hall is the main administrative building on campus. It houses the Office of the President, Registrar, Student Accounts, IT Helpdesk, Public Safety, the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education Admission, School of Graduate and Professional Studies, the School of Nursing, academic division offices, Veritas Auditorium, a gymnasium, and classrooms.
Alumnae Library
Alumnae Library is home to the newly renovated Center for Student Success, which includes multiple computer labs and classrooms, study areas, Tutoring Services, Academic Advising, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Career Services, and Student Accommodations and Support Services (SASS). The library also houses a theater, faculty offices, and the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts. The library is open to the public.
Mary Dooley College Center
The Mary Dooley College Center, named after the sixth president of the college, is the heart of student life on campus. The Elms Cafe and dining hall, Borgia Gallery, bookstore, campus post office, and Office of Student Life are all located in the center. Simulation labs for the School of Nursing are located in the basement. The Office of Institutional Advancement is located on the second floor.
Rose William Hall
Our largest residence hall, Rose William is a first-year student living option. Built in 1964, it houses up to 180 students on three floors and is located right next to the college center. Men and women live on separate wings on each floor, and share a large common area and kitchen.
O'Leary Hall
Built in 1922, O’Leary Hall is our oldest and one of the most familiar buildings on campus. The hall houses up to 180 upper class students with options for single, double, triple, and quad rooms on all four floors. Men and women live on separate floors. Each room has unique features, from walk-in closets, to large windows, to nine-foot ceilings. O’Leary also features the “Great Hall,” a large common area perfect for large group events.
Devine Hall
Located next to the Maguire Center, Devine Hall houses 40 graduate and postbaccalaureate students. In addition to two floors of double rooms, Devine has a large common room, enclosed porch, full kitchen, and laundry room.
Spaulding House
The Office of Admission is located in Spaulding House. Campus tours are offered Monday - Friday at 10 am and 2 pm, and on select Saturdays throughout the year. Tours typically last two hours and include an information session, campus tour with a student ambassador, and a chance to visit the Elms bookstore. Lyons Center for Natural and Health Sciences
The Lyons Center for Natural and Health Sciences is a 22,000 sq. ft. facility providing students and faculty with state-of-the-art labs and resources. Fully LEED certified, the Lyons Center features 15 high-tech learning spaces, 10 fully-equipped science labs, and 4 student lounges.
Blue House (147 Grape Street)
Blue House (147 Grape Street) is located directly across the street from Gaylord Mansion. As the central office for Bloom, the college’s student-run literary magazine, Blue House serves as a hub for students interested in creative writing. In addition to a library of literary journals and books, the house includes dedicated writing spaces, English faculty offices, and an event space for open mics, readings, workshops, and lectures by visiting scholars.
Brick House (15 Gaylord Street)
Brick House (15 Gaylord Street) houses the History Department and Institute of Pastoral Studies (ITPS).
Marian Hall
Located on the edge of campus behind Rose William Hall, Marian Hall is home to the Division of Education.
Maguire Center
The Maguire Center is the college’s hub for athletics and fitness. Featuring a fully-equipped gym and weight room, six-lane swimming pool, 100-meter track, Picknelly Arena basketball court, and physical therapy and training center, students and athletes have everything they need at their fingertips. The Health Center, Counseling Center, and athletic department offices are also located here.
Gaylord Living Learning Community
Built in the 19th century, Gaylord Mansion is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation. The newly redesigned space will have a living-learning, community, and cultural center on the first floor, with housing for postbaccalaureate and biomedical sciences students on the second and third floors. The ADA-compliant mansion offers rooms for 11 students, a full kitchen, and laundry facilities.
Keating Quadrangle
Keating Quad is named after our seventh president, Kathleen Keating, SSJ. An outdoor patio, firepit, and lawn give students plenty of space to hang out, take a study break, and play games.
Condon Field
Named after our five-time NAC Coach of the Year, Cheryl Condon, Condon Field was recently renovated and is home to our softball team.
Timothy J. Leary Field
Timothy J. Leary Field serves as the home field for soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse. Featuring multi-use artificial turf and a lighting system, the field is also open to students involved in intramurals.
